Wahib Joubeir and Alex Flood have extensive knowledge of Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. Both Wahib and Alex ensure a thorough biomechanical assessment and work directly with you to ensure an effective structured program for proper rehabilitation. They tailor gym and hydrotherapy programs for functional retraining and strength & conditioning. They currently provide health and rehabilitation services for Rostrevor Old Collegians Football Club in Division 1 Amateurs, Unley Jets Football Club in Divsion 2 Amateurs, East Torrens District Cricket Club playing in the SACA Grade Cricket Competition, San Marco FC Amateur League Club, Morialta Uniting Netball Club and the Southern Tigers in SA District Basketball.



Wahib has been a physiotherapist since 2000 and has a Masters in Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy achieved from the University of South Australia in 2003. He is involved with numerous local football, soccer, cricket and basketball community clubs as their Senior Physiotherapist. Wahib is also Clinical Educator for the University of South Australia’s School of Physiotherapy Undergradute and Post-Graduate programs.  His areas of interest are in the management of complex pain disorders, biomechanical assessment & management  of chronic musculoskeletal presentations, post-surgical rehabilitation of shoulder, hip and knee procedures, and implementation of evidence-based guidelines for improving health outcomes in adolescent and elderly populations.

Alex has been working in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy since graduating from the University of South Australia in 2010 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. He worked in private practice in Adelaide, and as head physiotherapist for Tango Netball Club and Pembroke Old Scholars Football Club before moving to the United Kingdom in 2013. Since then he has gained a broad range of experience by working in Musculoskeletal/Orthopaedic Outpatient departments of many of London’s major public hospitals as well as in remote areas of Scotland and the Isle of Man. Alex also worked at a high end private clinics in central London before making the move back home to Adelaide in 2017, to further his training with a Masters Degree in Advanced Clinical Physiotherapy.

Alex is passionate about helping people understand the factors involved in their injury or problem, and tailoring an individualised plan towards recovery. His areas of interest are in recurrent and chronic presentations of the lower back, hip, knee and neck, sports rehabilitation, and complex pain disorders. Alex’s focus is to restore pain free function by using hands-on techniques when appropriate, understand and educate, and bring better movement into people’s lives.

Here at Kinetic R+P, Alex will guide our clients through hydrotherapy, pilates and gym-based rehabilitation programs. He utilizes movement quality assessments and screens to build a picture of someone’s biomechanical profile. Ans he is also practiced in dry needling, soft tissue and joint-related techniques including manipulation.

After hours Alex loves to learn new skills and try new sports, currently focusing on climbing! He sees his family and friends, and is interested in sustainability and self-sufficiency.
